Welcome to Pong!
Pong is a club for videogame production under the purview of the Program-, Information-, and Network-technological Group (PING).
We at Pong make & play games while doing our outmost to have fun along the way.

Playing a "game of thousand cards!"
You are essentially free to create any type of game, even a non-digital one using a “paper prototype”. However the bulk of our group work will be computer games.
The simple breakdown:
- Get into groups.
- Exchange ideas. Discuss. Make a plan.
- Ready, set, start creating
- Present the game
Participants will be placed in randomized groups during the first meeting. Thereafter, each group will determine what kind of game it wants to make.
The games will be fairly simple in comparison to current games, but in turn each game will be made within four weeks.
When a project is finished, we will start again with new randomized groups.

Discussing Pong's next game-hit.
“All work and no play makes for bored people.” This isn’t a job. We will be having gaming evenings every other week.
Just playing games. Those who want to work on their projects are free to do so.
“Do I need to have extensive digital skills in order to join you?” No, but you must be ready to meet new faces and make new friends.
The simple overview of game skillsets (departments):
- Sound: Sfx & Music
- Programming: Graphics, network and general framework.
- Art: Drawing, modeling, animating etc.
- Design: Gameplay & concept – “Why is it fun?”
- QA: Bugtesting the game
You will most likely end up wearing different “hats”, working in several “departments” at once.
There will be plenty of work to go around and people to show you to do things. No worries.
